Tania Vu received her Ph.D. in visual neuroscience at the University of California, Berkeley and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco, the University of Illinois, Chicago, and Boston University in the areas of nano/microtechnology and neurophysiology. She is a faculty member in Biomedical Engineering and the Program in Neuroscience at Oregon Health and Science University, and an adjunct faculty member of the Physics Department at Portland State University. Her research focuses on nanotechnologies for dynamic imaging of neural function and subcellular nanostructures, as well as development of nanotechnologies for clinical diagnostics.
