Perpetua Announces Partnership to Create Manufacturing Capacity and Jobs in North Bend and Corvallis

Perpetua Power Source Technologies, an ONAMI gap fund partner company, announced a partnership with the newly established Mith-ih-kwuh Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) of the Coquille Indian Tribe that will expand thermoelectric material manufacturing capabilities at Perpetua’s Corvallis, OR headquarters and create a new manufacturing facility on the Coquille Indian Tribe’s Ko-Kwel Wharf property in North Bend, OR.  Construction of the new facility is expected to begin this year and create about 30 jobs.  The partnership between Perpetua and MEDC is also intended to anchor an innovation center which will leverage Tribal advantages to grow a new generation of businesses that create employment opportunities in the South Coast region.
