Amorphyx and Inpria: Two ONAMI Companies Showcased at Semicon West 2013

July 03 2013

Corvallis, Ore. – ONAMI commercialization gap fund companies Amorphyx and Inpria have been accepted into the Silicon Innovation Forum at Semicon West, which is sponsored and led by the venture arms of major semiconductor industry participants. The forum will be followed by a reception open to qualified investors. Both companies will be exhibitors at the forum, and Amorphyx, as an emerging new company, will be giving a five minute pitch in the presentation program.

Amorphyx and Inpria are both spinouts of the Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry, a National Science Foundation-sponsored Phase II “Centers of Chemical Innovation” program that expands upon the successes of Phase I (2008-2011), the joint Oregon State University and University of Oregon Center for Green Material Chemistry. ONAMI was a major supporter of the Phase I CMGC and continues to support the successor center, by providing $1.25M in matching funds, and additional funding for student internships in ONAMI gap fund companies and investments in research capacity expansion as well as by enabling a partnership with the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance on the center’s commercialization program.
