ONAMI and SNNI announce Greener Nano 2011, May 1-3, 2011 at Hewlett-Packard in Cupertino, CA
The ONAMI Safer Nanomaterials and Nanomanufacturing Initiative’s (SNNI) 6th annual Greener Nano Conference (GN11) – Advancing Applications and Reducing Risk - will be hosted by Hewlett-Packard Company at its Cupertino, CA site. This hear, GN11 will be held in conjunction with the Green Chemistry and Commerce Council (GC3) Innovators Roundtable May 4-5. GN11 will explore challenges and opportunities facing nanotechnology in the next decade. We will address reproducibility in nanomaterials syntheses, and discuss methods in understanding nanomaterial properties and the impacts of nanomaterials in biological systems.
A pre-conference workshop, Greener Nano 101, will be held on Sunday, May 1st, followed by an opening dinner reception. This workshop is geared toward those new to the field and will focus on what policy-makers and regulators need to know about nanotechnology.
