Description:
Dune Sciences and The University of Oregon have developed a novel means to assemble molecular scale building blocks into functional materials and coatings. Working with AcryMed, Inc., the team is working to functionalize AcryMed’s Silvagard Nanoparticles and demonstrate their use as an antimicrobial coating. This technology promises to yield high performance, low cost means to modify surface properties.
Dune Sciences is the recipient of a Department of Energy phase I Small Business Innovative Research award, and has received funding from the Office of Naval Research.
