Ujwal Shinde is a biochemist interested in the folding and interactions of proteins, and understanding how these interactions might be rationally manipulated. His group uses circular dichroism, fluorescence and NMR spectroscopy, along with computer modeling and molecular dynamics, biochemical kinetics, protein biochemistry and cell biology to study the role intramolecular chaperones in catalyzing protein folding reactions and in regulating enzyme activation.
