Professor, Oregon State University
NanoBiotechnology/NanoMedicine, Nanoscale Metrology and Nanoelectronics
Chemical Reaction Engineering, High-Temperature Materials, Nano-sized Materials Synthesis, Bio-Ceramics, Electroceramics, and Catalysis. Currently working on mass-production of carbon nanotubes as well as nanofibers and silicon carbide nanotubes and nanofibers, generation of hydrogen without carbon dioxide formation, and synthesis of silicon nitride nanopowder in a microchannel reactor. Also working on integration of nanotechnology education into the OSU Chemical Engineering undergraduate program with emphasis on material and energy balances.
