Erik Johansson is a chemist whose research focus is on chemical modification of macro-, micro-, and nano-structured semiconductor surfaces for efficient and low-cost solar-energy conversion. Erik obtained his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from UCLA working for Dr. Jeffrey I. Zink and worked as a postdoctoral scholar for Dr. Nathan S. Lewis at Caltech, where he investigated low-cost solution methods for Si surface modification.
