Microtechnology-Based Energy and Chemical Systems, Safer Nanomaterials and Nanomanufacturing
Alena Paulenova’s field of research focuses on the preparation and characterization of new solid-state inorganic materials. Current efforts are directed to the development and study of hybrid materials and scintillating quantum nano-dots for radiodetection; deposition and characterization of thin films of radioactive solids. Dr. Paulenova is also an adjunct professor at the Department of Chemistry of OSU. Her research is supported by Department of Energy.
